- Visible 2* TS 007 Kitemark marking on the external backplate indicates the handle’s performance and acts as a key visual deterrent to prevent any unwanted interest.

What is TS 007-1:2014 + A2:2018
- Technical standard from the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) and the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF)
- Defines the security performance requirements for replacement cylinders and associated hardware, intended for use in the retrofit market
- Cylinders may achieve one or three stars whilst security hardware may achieve two stars. The overall security performance of a combination of cylinder and associated hardware is the cumulative star rating of the two components
- To achieve the level of security to defend against the opportunist burglar, a cumulative star rating of three is the minimum required.
